Kathryn Plummer x Starlings National
Accepting the award for her father is Kathryn Boden. As she makes her way to the stage, let me share a brief background on this very accomplished and talented young woman:
Kathryn is a graduate of Stanford University, where she helped lead the Cardinal to three Division I National Championships in 2016, 2018, and 2019. She was named National Freshman of the Year in 2016, and went on to be recognized as the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament in both 2018 and 2019.
She was also honored as the National Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, and received two of the most prestigious awards in collegiate athletics—the 2019 Sullivan Award, recognizing the nation’s best collegiate athlete, and the Honda Award as the top volleyball player.
Most recently, Kathryn represented Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where she earned a silver medal—and she’s brought it here to share with you today!
