Don Patterson

Don Patterson is a journalist who has covered the sport of volleyball for more than 30 years. He is currently the Senior Content Manager for The Art of Coaching Volleyball, and he was the executive editor of Volleyball Magazine from 1991-2002. He has also been the editor of Volleyball USA and DiG magazines, a sportswriter at the Los Angeles Times, and an editor at CBSSports.com. In 2022, he co-authored the book “Chasing Greatness” with Karch Kiraly. Don has been a member of the Starlings board of directors since the organization was founded in 1996.
