Overview:
- Starlings Volleyball USA has been hosting this one day pool play tournament for many years in order to bring together competition for Southern Cal Starlings clubs.
- The tournament will include FOUR age divisions: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U
- *The 14u and 16U Divisions will have a “Club” and an “Open” division offered to clubs
- Club division is for developmental teams with players who are new to volleyball
- Open division is for teams that have more experienced players and who have competed at a high level during the season especially within their USAV region
- *our goal is to give each club team 3 matches for the day
Parking: credit cards only; no cash
- Lots open TBA
Policies:
- No coolers in the gym
- No canopies allowed around the perimeter of the building
- No outside food or drink allowed in the gym (*this includes coffee)
- Coaches will serve as officials and need to provide the line judges and scorekeepers
- Only players/coaches in bench/court areas
- No other sports played in or around the building during the tournament. *this includes no ball handling by players outside
- Only Starlings players may be on the volleyball court actively warming up/playing (others may not utilize the facility even if the court is empty)
