2026 National Starlings Tournament Information 

Dates:  June 12-15, 2026 (competition dates)

Site: Momentous Volleyball Center in Irvine, CA

Overview:

Starlings Volleyball USA has been hosting a National Tournament for over 22 years.  Originally held in San Diego, California, the tournament has since moved to a larger facility to accommodate more teams in Irvine, California.  

Divisions:  The tournament will include FOUR age divisions: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U

*The 14u and 16U Divisions will have a “Club” and an “Open” division offered to clubs

Club division is for developmental teams with players who are new to volleyball

Open division is for teams that have more experienced players and who have competed at a high level during the season especially within their USAV region

*each age division will play at least 3 days (2 days of pool play and1 day of playoffs)

Registration:  will be released to Starlings USA current member Directors only in early spring.

Starlings Volleyball USA works closely with the City of Irvine and City of Santa Ana to build room blocks for club teams with negotiated reasonable prices.  Please note:

• Room blocks are a first come-first serve basis
• Room blocks have a period of time when they are open and will expire several weeks in advance of the national event. Clubs are encouraged to secure (via credit card) the number of rooms they will definitely need in advance using the room block contact/link.
• Hotel representative should be contacted in order to secure rooms in advance with the price noted.
• Starlings Volleyball USA is NOT responsible for any damages or financial obligations with these hotels.  

      Recommendation:

• Each club should try to book one of the hotel block areas for all teams by coordinating directly with the Hotel Representative. Please consult with your Club Director
• If the club is dividing up to different hotels; we recommend the Head Coach or Team Rep work with the hotel rep to place players/families on the same floor if that is the goal.
• Once block is full with a respective Hotel, it will be crossed off from the list.  
• Check out/Check In date changes need to be coordinated with the hotel representative
